You only need 3 ingredients.
20 months ago I was facing the biggest challenge of my parent “career”: starting solids with my first child.
Those moments are still fresh in my mind.
The overwhelm of a new territory.
The pressure of doing it right the first time.
The feeling that I wasn’t giving the right food.
The thought of my child not eating enough.
I was falling into the trap of Instagram and Pinterest, with their pretty plates and lots of ingredients.
I was trying to keep up with feeding my little one modern and hip recipes.
I was more stressed out then I was preparing for an exam.
And I was bringing that stress over to the table.
Until I realised my little girl was enjoying simple and quick foods, rather than complicated dishes that involved more ingredients than the fingers from a hand.
I stopped worrying about the design and plating.
I stopped looking for complexity, when simple was enough.
I found it easier to adapt and vary basic recipes, rather than continuing to look for new ones every time.
And I found that usually 3 ingredients do the trick, without overwhelming the plate.
If I kept things simple, my little one was more willing to have a go at whatever was in front of her.
You can mix and vary only 3 ingredients to make a nutritious and healthy meal for your little one.
You don’t need fancy ingredients either.
WHEN YOU REALISE YOU ONLY NEED SIMPLE FOODS, THEN
I am a mother of two. With a baby boy who is not yet of the age of starting solids, I was on the lookout for simple, quick and easy recipes that my toddler (like all toddlers) wouldn’t simply refuse from the start, but be willing to at least try.
I found that by having at least 3 ingredients on the plate, she would be more likely to have a go, rather than overwhelm her with 2 types of fruit, 2 mains and eventually some dessert.
And the fact that there are only 3 gave me enough room to quickly vary one of them in one way or another, so that it wouldn’t take ages to have something ready on the table.
Your investment: only 11$.
Absolutely not. Even if you’re going the traditional route with purees, at some point you will start introducing table foods, at which point you can start cooking from this book.
Well… the fact that there are only 3 ingredients to each recipe?! I’d say that makes it something else. Plus, I am also including tips on how to vary these recipes quickly, so in the end you will have more than 25 to play with. Oh, and I take my own photos, so all food photography is my own.
Due to the digital nature of this cookbook, the purchase you make is final and I cannot process a refund for you.
Nobody can guarantee that for you. But what I can guarantee is a stressfree meal and I strongly believe that if you are more relaxed, your little one is more likely to have a go at whatever is in front of him or her.
