Cinnamon apple pudding (a BLW recipe)
A healthy breakfast idea for babies 6 months+ and parents alike! It covers 4 food groups in one go and replaces successfully cereal for the first meal of the day! You can make it the night before and serve the next morning.

  1. Heat oven to 180 C (fan)/200C (electric)/400 F/Gas mark 6.
  2. Peel and remove the core from the apples. Cut in half then slice thinly. Put the slices in a bowl, sprinkle the cinnamon and the lemon juice if you’re using.
  3. In another bowl, mix the 2 eggs, then add the milk and the melted butter. Mix well. Add the flour and mix some more till everything resembles a slightly thicker pancake dough.
  4. Drop the apple slices in this mix and using a spatula cover all the slices with this dough.
  5. Lightly grease your pan with some butter or oil. If you have time, take each slice and arrange it in your pan then at the end pour the remaining dough on top. If you don’t have time, just drop the whole mixture at once. No one will judge you! 😛
  6. Bake for 50 minutes until brown on top.
  7. Enjoy with milk (for baby), custard or even ice cream (for adults)!
